Understanding Sources and Connectors

Updated the course as part of a web source revamp project

Challenge

The connectors are the way organizations are indexed in Coveo’s index. The web connector feature is getting updated (both backend and frontend changes. The changes are supposed to go live in June week 2, the course needs to be updated with the new procedure.

 

Solution

We identified 8 courses that covered web connectors in different capacities. We decided to update the courses using text, images, and interactive blocks. We also included a quiz to make sure the learners followed the change.

 

Impact

The clients had no problem following the new flow of process by following the updates to the courses and the documentation.

Understand Content Gaps and their Causes

Rewrote the entire version 2 course as the exisitng course was obsolete

Challenge

Usage analytics help Coveo customers with insights into how customers interact with their platform. The analytics report on content gaps helps customers know the queries that lead to no result. The current course on the topic is quite outdated and misses basic info.

 

Solution

Based on my research, it was identified the course needed to start with an explanation of why this was an important feature, followed by using the features of the dashboard to get the most useful information.

 

Expected Impact

The course will help the customers to learn best practices that can help them resolve some of the issues related to content gaps.

Understanding Visit Browser Dashboard

Created this course from scratch as per the request from customer success team

Challenge

Visit browser is part of the Usage analytics section of Coveo’s platform solutions. It helps customers follow the journey of the end user on their platform. Although some technical documentation exists, there is no course to train clients on using the feature effectively. 


Solution

Based on my research, I identified the course could benefit from a process walkthrough, followed by a pictorial explanation of all the features of the page. We decided to create a skill path with many courses in phases. 


Expected Impact

The course will help the customers follow the features of the visit browser page and learn the best practices through the provided use cases.
